It was reported that two Israeli nationals were ordered to pay Israir NIS 2,000 (c. £425) in court costs after they were removed from a flight from Bulgaria. The pair had originally complained of poor treatment by the airline and demanded NIS 33,000 (c. £7,000) compensation after they were detained for six hours at Sofia. However, testimonies provided by staff, passengers and police revealed the pair had been drunk and abusive.
