10 JULY 2019: LONDON GATWICK, ENGLAND

Abigail Campbell, 10, travelled with her family from Turkey to London Gatwick but missed their connecting easyJet flight to take them home to Douglas, Isle of Man. The family stated that they were three minutes late because Abigail needed to rest as she has brittle asthma. After missing their flight, Abigail lay on the floor for respite and her father, Keith, filmed and accused easyJet staff of stating that Abigail lay on the floor because her father wanted her to and not because of her illness – insinuating that she was faked it. Her father stated that Abigail lay on the floor for 30 minutes before easyJet staff approached them. The airline claimed they were in fact 17 minutes late but have apologised to the family.
