11 APRIL 2020: POINT-NOIRE, CONGO

An Air France flight from Paris to Point-Noire was shot at twice after landing at Agostinho-Neto International Airport. One of the bullets damaged the fuselage and the other hit the tarmac. The aircraft had arrived in the country to repatriate 100 French nationals and was due to depart for Bangui. The perpetrator was allegedly a member of the airport police who had also taken three people hostage.
