11 JULY 2018: BELFAST, NORTHERN IRELAND

Belfast City Airport was evacuated after a bomb threat was issued against it. The threat was thought to have been made by members of the terrorist organisation, the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), after the group announced that they would be causing major disruption throughout the city as part of Eleventh Night celebrations. Although a number of viable devices were discovered in locations around the city, nothing suspicious was detected at the airport, and operations resumed the same day.
