A 36-year-old man was arrested for assaulting an enforcer at Schiphol after he was issued with a fine for not adhering to measures put in place to contain COVID-19. The man allegedly punched the enforcer before running out of the terminal, pursued by the enforcer and Marechaussee officers. The officers resorted to using pepper spray after the man again attacked the enforcer at the train station near the terminal, and held him down on train tracks.
