11 MARCH 2019: LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

Patricia Medina, 48, was arrested twice in one day for assaulting a flight attendant and, later, a police officer. When Medina’s Southwest Airlines flight to St Louis left the gate, she requested to get off the flight. The flight then returned to the gate and Medina then refused to exit. After eventually exiting, she tried to get back on the flight and, when she was denied entry, she attacked a flight attendant by kicking, punching and biting them. She was arrested on charges of battery and released later in the day. She returned to the airport in the evening and breached a security checkpoint. Medina punched the officer when they attempted to detain her for the breach.
