British media regulator, Ofcom, launched an initial investigation into Sky News for falsely claiming to have found the identity of the Kenyan Airways stowaway, who fell to his death in London in June. Sky News had stated that it was Nairobi airport cleaner Paul Manyasi, which the airport denied. Manyasi was in fact alive and in prison. Sky News apologised and removed the story, stating it was founded on misleading information.
