Duane Youd, 47, a pilot, died after stealing a Cessna jet from his place of work and crashing it into his family home hours after being arrested and released on bail for assaulting his wife. Youd allegedly called his biological children and told them to leave the house and stay with their mother that night. His wife and another child were in the house at the time of the crash but they both managed to escape and survived the crash.
