14 SEPTEMBER 2019: LONDON, ENGLAND

Roger Hallam, 53, co-founder of Extinction Rebellion, was arrested for attempting to fly a drone near Heathrow Airport. He was arrested two days earlier, pre-emptively, due to the planned protest by the group against the expansion of the third runway. At the time of writing, 19 people aged 19 to 69 have been arrested in connection to the drone protests, although flights have not been affected. Anti-drone technology is believed to have thwarted the planned protests.
