A shipment of 1,000 Samsung Galaxy S9 mobile phones worth over BRL $3.5 million (c. £750,000) was stolen from the cargo terminal of Antonio Carlos Jobim International. Three gunmen disguised themselves as airport workers and threatened staff at gunpoint as they carried out the heist.
