Laura Mandel, a Jewish American activist working for The Abraham Initiatives, was questioned by security for nearly two hours at Ben-Gurion Airport. Mandel was flying back home to San Francisco, when she was questioned about her involvement with The Abraham Initiatives – an organisation that promotes a shared society between Arabs and Jews. Mandel’s personal belongings were confiscated and returned at the end of the flight.
