Jeffrey Epstein, 59, a physician, yelled obscenities at staff at an American Airlines ticket counter at Orlando International and later at police during his arrest. After being told that he would not be allowed to board his flight, Epstein was restrained and pepper-sprayed by officers and was reported to have shouted, “I’m not resisting! You’re treating me like a f***ing black person!” Epstein later claimed he started a ruckus on purpose in order to highlight the issue of police brutality, but he was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, trespassing after a warning, disorderly conduct, and also of carrying cannabis.
