Sanjay Kalubhai Korat, 39, was found guilty of making a false bomb threat against a Singapore Airlines flight from Mumbai to Singapore in March 2019, which resulted in fighter jets escorting the flight to Changi. Korat admitted he made the threat because he became angry after calling Singapore Airlines twice for information regarding the flight, which his mother and another relative were travelling on. He will be sentenced in August.
