A rocket was accidentally fired by a Chadian Air Force Su-52 Frogfoot at Airbase 172 Fort-Lamy located in N’Djamena Airport. The rocket missed a parked French C-130H, however it hit an empty tanker truck and crashed into the house of the deputy commander of the Presidential Guard, General Mahamata Salaha Brahima. The rocket fire killed two children and two adults and wounded two others.
