Amor Ftouhi, 53, was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing an airport police officer, Jeff Neville, in the neck in June 2017 at Bishop International Airport. Ftouhi drove from Montreal to Michigan to carry out the terrorist attack. Ftouhi wanted kill Neville and take his gun so he could kill others and then be shot dead by police, becoming a martyr and allowing his family to claim his life insurance. Neville was injured and has lost feeling in a part of his face.
