Approximately €800,000 (c. £720k) worth of luxury goods were stolen from containers that were due to be loaded onto aircraft at Henri Coandă Airport. Stolen goods included perfumes, minibars, various drinks, watches, jewellery, cosmetics, and bags. Police subsequently investigated employees of the Bucharest Airports National Company, dnata Catering SRL Romania, and other companies that operate at the airport.
