Reports emerged that model, Adau Mornyang, 25, lost her attempt for a new trial after she was convicted of assaulting a flight attendant on a United Airlines flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles in January. Mornyang was intoxicated and behaved erratically during the flight. She was later sentenced to 100 hours of community service, ordered to receive mental health and alcohol abuse counselling and fined $2,000 (c. £1,600), which was waived because she could not afford it on 15 July.
