Gary Christopher Mellios, a former Qantas employee, lost his third appeal by the Fair Work Commission after he was fired for watching porn on his work iPad in the engineering hut at Brisbane Airport. Two female Caltex refuellers witnessed him watching porn on several occasions throughout 2016-2018. Mellios claimed he was ‘micro-sleeping’ on the job.
