Inspector Christian Offor, Inspector Kingsley Umeji, Sergeant David Eguavoen and Sergeant Paul Ebo were allegedly involved in a shooting at an airport tollgate, which resulted in the injury of Tunde Adeparusi. The four police officers were arrested and an investigation was launched.
