A Piper Malibu aircraft en route from Nantes to Cardiff Airport went missing near the island of Guernsey. Onboard the aircraft was the pilot, David Ibbotson, and Premier League footballer, Emiliano Sala. Sala was travelling to Cardiff having just signed with Cardiff City FC.
