A man crashed his Volkswagen into Moscow Domodedovo Airport in a desperate attempt to prevent the theft of 10 million RUB (c. £117,300) that he had been transporting in his car. The thieves had cornered the man in his Volkswagen using their Ford when the driver accelerated into the airport checkpoint security, injuring himself and a security guard. The thieves escaped with the money.
