Laura Georgioff, a travel blogger and mum of three, engaged in an altercation at Tahiti Faa’a International Airport. Georgioff’s children were playing at the childrens’ area when another child took their toys. Georgioff asked the child to play nicely and the child’s mother then allegedly pushed Georgioff into a wall. She retaliated by raising her arm and hitting the mother in the nose. Both families were denied boarding. Goergioff claimed that Air New Zealand had marked them as a no-show, so they had to pay for alternative flights.
