A 30-year-old man refused to wear a face mask on board a Transavia flight from Las Palmas to Schiphol Airport and argued with staff over its efficacy. He was later fined €500 (c. £450), or a suspended fine of €200 (c. £180) if the man complies with two years of probationary conditions.
