Christopher Pattinson, 58, attempted to sue British Airways for thousands of pounds in compensation, complaining he was ‘harassed’ by drunken football fans during a flight from Newcastle to Las Vegas. He claimed the men put their feet up on his headrest, became intoxicated and rowdy, and refused to sit for landing. The court ruled that BA could not be held responsible for their passengers’ behaviour.
