Alison Yorston, 50, was arrested last June for being abusive to airport staff and assaulting a police officer. The grandmother was deemed too drunk to board a flight to Dubai from Manchester Airport after staff saw her stumbling. She was sentenced to a six-month community order, ordered to pay £735 in costs and must wear a tag under the terms of a 7pm-7am curfew.
