26 JULY 2019: LUNGI, SIERRA LEONE

Ernest Bai Koroma, former President of Sierra Leone, was allegedly humiliated by staff at Freetown International Airport. Koroma’s privileges were restricted as he was denied access to the presidential lounge and VIP lounge by staff who stated they were following orders “from above.” He was directed to the public area of the airport to have his passport stamped.
