Michel Bacos, the heroic Air France captain of flight 139 that was hijacked to Entebbe in June 1976, passed away aged 95. Bacos refused to leave his Jewish and Israeli passengers in Entebbe when he, and his crew, were offered the chance to leave with other non-Israeli passengers.
