Komal Shah was unable to find a bin to throw her 17-month-old son’s nappy away on a Jetstar flight from Auckland to Palmerston North, so she placed the nappy in a corner within the toilets. A flight attendant scolded Shah telling her she could not change a nappy onboard the flight and told her to pick up the nappy and store it by her for the flight. Shah refused and collected the nappy at the end of the flight. The pilot and Jetstar apologised for the flight attendant’s behaviour.
