Halls A and B of the South Terminal at Orly Airport were evacuated after a pair of Alexander McQueen designer shoes were deemed suspicious. The shoes contained wires within the heels to light up and required batteries. A Vogue journalist, whom the shoes belonged to, was arrested before her Royal Air Maroc flight to Casablanca. The airport resumed operations after the shoes were found to be safe.
