Paul Anthony Niederreiter was sentenced to two months in jail and ordered to pay Hawaiian Airlines more than $20,000 (c. £15,250). Niederreiter forced a flight from Kahului, Maui to San Francisco to divert to Honolulu in August after shouting at cabin crew and refusing to follow instructions.
