A six-year-old Harris hawk, Milo, who surveys the skies to scare away other birds over Heathrow Airport, was stolen by a gang from the backseat of owner Layla Bennett’s vehicle at the car park of Mercure Hotel. Milo was later found in a back garden in West Drayton and reunited with Bennett after she launched an appeal for the bird. It appears that Milo escaped from the clutches of the gang by ‘untying his knots’.
