An EVA Air flight attendant held a press conference, stating that the airline, where she has been working for eight years, questioned whether she had taken part in an adult film and prostituted in the Netherlands. EVA Air received an anonymous letter on 18 January claiming that the flight attendant was in the pornographic video. The company reassigned her duties and interviewed her for three hours about the false claims, making her write statements stating she was not the actress in the video. EVA Air claimed that it would harm the company’s reputation if she was involved. The incident created rumours at work and psychologically tormented the flight attendant. The flight attendant covered her face during the conference to protect her identity.
