British national, Andrew Westlake, 30, died after falling from a 50ft-high balcony inside the terminal at Dalaman. Westlake had been due to fly home with his partner, who he had argued with during their first holiday together, and their one-year-old daughter, but had either been removed from or simply decided to leave the Jet2 flight. He is reported to have said that he “wanted it to end” before he died and Turkish police are treating his death as a suicide.
