Three men were convicted and sentenced to jail for a cash heist of R20.7m (c. £1,135,000), at OR Tambo Airport in March 2017. Prince Raphael Dube received 40 years imprisonment, Frans Mathabatha Manaka 30 years and Sibusiso Job Mnisi 15 years. Eight men were originally accused of the crime, however the National Prosecuting Authority withdrew charges against four of the men and another man was acquitted.
