Robert Foster, 38, was sentenced to home detention for six weeks and fined AUD $800 (c. £450) after pleading guilty to becoming drunk and abusive towards Tiger Air cabin crew during a flight from Brisbane to Adelaide in December. Foster was drinking from a bag of wine, which was confiscated, causing him to verbally assault staff in front of his nine-year-old son. He also stole a life jacket.
