Adam Lennon, 22, was sentenced for drunk and unruly behaviour, which caused a Ryanair flight from Murcia to Dublin to divert to Bristol on New Year’s Eve. Before the diversion, Lennon was play flighting with one of his friends; he then threatened to punch a cabin crewmember and swore at another. He was jailed for four months and ordered to pay Ryanair the full cost of the diversion, £5,893.03.
