4 FEBRUARY 2019: MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT

Tiffany Charpentier, 20, received a five-year suspended sentence and three years’ probation for two burglaries she committed at Meriden-Markham Airport, and the theft of a school van, in 2017. Charpentier stole over $10,000 (c. £7,650) worth of goods which included a drone, computers, survival gear, and specialised electronics, keys to buildings, model aircraft and firearms. Police were able to identify Charpentier from fingerprints left on a window.
