David Stephen Young, 44, forced a WestJet flight en route to London to turn back to Calgary after becoming aggressive and abusive onboard. Young, who had been sober for 18 months, had drunk six drinks before boarding. Young claims to have been under family stress at the time and apologised to those affected. He was ordered to pay WestJet $21,260 (c. £16,200) for fuel costs.
