British national James Rogers, 39, became drunk and unruly and forced a TUI flight from London to Cancun to divert to Bermuda. Rogers threatened cabin crew when denied more alcohol and smoked in the toilet. Later in court, he pleaded guilty to being drunk on an aeroplane, smoking a cigarette on board and acting in a disorderly manner. He was fined a total of USD $1500 (c. £1,120).
