Gergory Lagana claims to have been assaulted by an American Airlines crewmember on a flight from Charlotte to Philadelphia following a heated argument over his drink order. Lagana claimed that the crewmember held down his arms and punched his face several times. Lagana is suing American Airlines for $161,000 (c. £123,000) in damages claiming that he suffered “severe, serious and permanent personal injuries, as well as mental and emotional injuries rendering him permanently and severely injured.”
