A 31-year-old employee at Kuwait International Airport Terminal 1 entered the gates with a pistol pointed at his head, threatening to shoot himself. The gun was not loaded; however, he was also carrying a knife. The man repeated that he was the saviour and was going to free Palestine. Security forces were able to calm the man down and keep him away from passengers.
