Surveillance footage emerged showing William Thomas, 36, a pilot for Republic Airways and Marisha Sporer, 29, a flight attendant for the airline engage in a physical altercation on a jet bridge at the airport on 14 September. Thomas and Sporer were in a relationship and had just broken up. The footage shows Thomas spitting at Sporer. She then slapped Thomas who then retaliated by punching her in the ribs and face. Their employment by Republic Airways was subsequently terminated.
