The Special Court against Corruption and Organised Crime extended the detention and investigation time for several suspects involved in the April 2019 Rinas Airport heist. Oltion Velesi, Alkon Bengasi, Ragim Hajdini, Renaldo Sula, Elton Pikli and Saimir Cela’s detention was extended for two months and 15 days. 4.6 million euros due to be transported to a bank in Vienna was stolen from Rinas Airport.
