Reports emerged that a 55-year-old man pleaded guilty to upskirting an Air Nauru hostess on a flight from Honiara to Brisbane last August. He attempted to justify his actions by claiming that the air hostess smiled at him multiple times. The air hostess was bending to get food from the trolley when the incident occurred. He was fined a $750 (c. £570) good behaviour bond and the incident was not recorded as conviction.
