Yaqub Ahmed’s deportation from Britain was prevented after Turkish Airline passengers staged a mutiny demanding the Somali’s release. Ahmed was allegedly a convicted gang rapist, but the passengers, unaware of his criminal record, felt sorry for him believing the deportation to be for political reasons.
