Fraport Brasil has installed SITA’s passenger processing technology at the two airports it manages in Brazil: Fortaleza Airport and Porto Alegre Airport. New self-service gates provide passengers with automated entry to the security checking area with a scan of their barcoded boarding pass. This will reduce queues and can process passengers four times more quickly. Fraport Brasil has implemented a total of 26 SITA self-service gates: 14 at Forteleza Airport and 12 at Porto Alegre Airport.
