Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Selects Xovis to Help Manage Passenger Flow

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) has selected Xovis to measure passenger wait times and provide passenger flow management technology at various security checkpoints.

Xovis plans to fully equip ATL’s three domestic security checkpoints, international security checkpoint and all associated queuing areas with a total of 389 Xovis 3D Sensors. These ceiling-mounted sensors count and track passengers anonymously. The Xovis software receives data-streams from the sensors and measures key performance indicators such as queue lengths, wait times and passenger throughput. This real-time data empowers the airport stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, manage staffing levels and other resources, in order to improve efficiency at security checkpoints and increase passenger satisfaction.
