Apstec Systems’ Human Security Radar (HSR)has now been deployed at Vnukovo International Airport. This fully automatic system is designed for real-time screening of passengers without disrupting the flow of people as they move through the airport terminal. HSR analyses the data obtained at the time people pass through the inspection area, determines the presence of a potentially dangerous object and its position on the body, and immediately alerts security personnel about the detected threat. The alarm received from the HSR system contains a photograph of the individual of concern, along with an indication of the location of this object on the body.
