OSI Systems, Inc. has announced that the Australian government has chosen the Rapiscan RTT®110 CT inspection system in order to improve its security initiative to identify contraband biosecurity materials entering the country inside passenger baggage, mail, and cargo. This is the first time the RTT 110 has been used for biosecurity detection, having previously been used for detecting explosives, weapons, and contraband.
