Osprey Flight Solutions’: Open Platform Provides Data on COVID-19

Osprey Flight Solutions has launched Osprey:Open a free platform that provides security data and information relating to any location in the world. :Open gives users access to data categories on crime, corruption, social unrest and aviation security events for every country and airport. It does this via a map-based interface with charts that show six months of data, enabling trends and patterns to be identified. In addition to the standard data sets that are available, Osprey, partnering with the European Business Aviation Association, have overlaid Covid-19 cases for each country, drawn from W.H.O. reporting, John Hopkins University and CDC. Also accessible are country-based COVID-19 infection rates, showing the growth and rate of the infection, and each country’s stage in the spread of the virus. Data on COVID-19-related NOTAMs, both those released by any country and those relating to any international airport and all known travel restrictions for each country are available on the platform. The datasets within the platform are updated in as near to real time as possible.
